Travelling to Swansea is just over three hours from London by train or car.

Travelling by car
The M4 gives very good access to Swansea. If you are heading for Swansea City Centre from the Carmarthen direction it is best to use junction 47 and from Cardiff direction the easiest route is from junction 42.
There are 2 park and ride sites in Swansea. Both offer easy access from the M4. Information about parking in the city centre and other places in Swansea is available on Swansea City Council's car parks pages.
Train information
Swansea is served by First Great Western trains from London and frequent Transport for Wales [TfW] trains run from west Wales, the Marches, the Midlands and the south-west.

Coach and bus information
First Cymru operates a frequent shuttle coach service from Cardiff to Swansea and Bristol airport. The service runs hourly off-peak and half-hourly at peak times. There are frequent National Express coaches to Swansea too, from all other principal towns in south and west Wales. The National Express also links with London and Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
