Attendance options for IHBC Annual School 2023
The IHBC’s 2023 School offers both in-person and ‘virtual’ options for delegates
All delegate options include access to the IHBC-recognised, CPD-certificated learning-led virtual School IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE (4.30 -7.00pm on Wednesday 21st June, including Happy Hour with the IHBC from 6.00-7.00pm).
FULL SCHOOL
Full School ‘in-person’, with virtual School IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE 21st June & in person attendance 22nd-24th June 2023
Fee from £250 +VAT Non IHBC members £300 +VAT not including accommodation
Full School 3-day package, from Thursday 22nd June to Saturday 24th June, which EXCLUDES ACCOMMODATION. This package includes in-person’ attendance at the Friday ‘Day School’ online IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE (Wednesday), drinks reception (Thursday) and Annual Dinner (Friday), and study tours (Thursday afternoon & Saturday all day and part day).
DAY SCHOOL
Day School ‘in-person’, Friday 23rd June 2023 with the IHBC-recognised, CPD-certificated learning-led virtual School IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE (21st June) included in all delegate options.
Fee from £120 +VAT (non-members £150 +VAT)
Day School-package, which includes lunch and refreshments on Friday 23rd June but excludes any other programme events such as receptions and dinners.
The IHBC-recognised, CPD-certificated learning-led virtual School IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE (21st June) is included in all delegate options.
VIRTUAL DAY SCHOOL
Virtual Friday ‘Day School’ as an online delegate, Friday 23rd June 2023 with the IHBC-recognised, CPD-certificated learning-led virtual School IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE (21st June) included in all delegate options.
Fee from £30 +VAT (non-members £35+VAT)
BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE NOTE:
- Full School - If you are considering attending the Full School in person, please review your travel and accommodation options BEFORE booking your Full School place. Please note that travel costs and times can be substantial and subject to change, and the IHBC School’s refund policy is necessarily very strictly observed.
- Accommodation is NOT included in the IHBC’s Full School delegate fee. Delegates are wholly responsible for making their own arrangements for accommodation, travel etc.
- In-person Day School (Friday 23rd June) places and options are on a strictly limited basis and allocated on a ‘first booking’ basis.
- Digital Day School - Digital access to the Day School (Friday 23rd June) is also included for all ‘in person’ delegates, offering more flexible participation options within the programme. Breaks in programme broadcasts and access to recorded sessions after the School are designed to encourage flexible and managed participation by our online delegates.
- IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE - The IHBC-recognised, CPD-certificated and learning-led virtual Swansea School IHBC MarketPlace:LIVE (Wednesday 21st June) is included in all delegate options. This includes the chance to enjoy ‘Happy Hour with the IHBC’, from 6.00-7.00pm, with informal chat among officers and others online, as well as your own choice of refreshments.
- General. Be sure to check the arrangements as outlined below, as our ‘in-person’ Swansea Full School programme is different from Schools before the pandemic. The programme is summarised below.
- Any delegate option you choose offers substantial and cost-effective IHBC-recognised and certified CPD hours.
- General updates on the School will be advertised on our NewsBlogs service, so please be sure you are signed up there.
- We hope that in 2023 the pandemic uncertainties of previous years are behind us but the School’s arrangements will still be dictated by circumstances and an approach to risk appropriate to the IHBC as a small charity. All arrangements may necessarily be subject to change or even cancellation in line with feasibility, regulations and guidance.

All cancellations must be made in writing.
